No robot editing. No, sir, no ma'am. Writing ain't no science, capybara. It's the writer's job, or the writer's editor, to analyze the repetition. And do it the old-fashioned way: by reading through the text. If a repetition doesn't bother you, then it's not a problem. If a repetition does bother you, then there will be collatoral damage in considering it anyway, and the number of things you'll find while doing a non-automated pass-through for repetition is important. I use Wordle to help see just how many times I used a word in a particular work: http://www.wordle.net/ After running that, I tend to pair down words such as "see" "like" and "somewhat".
